Players of Blotter,

Today I bring to you "Behind the Scenes, August" or "BtS August."

What does this month entail?: As school comes around for me, I will not be on as often, but I will still be making daily updates. This, however, won't be until September's behind the scenes is released. This month is all about skill upgrading. Those of you with high skilling levels (Smithing, Crafting, etc) will rather enjoy this update. The following SHOULD be added this month, if not next.

Smithing: Smithing Torva, Dragon kiteshield, and Royal Crossbows\bolts.
Crafting: Crafting Pernix, Virtus, Royal dragonhide, dragonbone, and Black\adamant\rune (t) and (g) armors.
Thieving: A new stall for Royal Dragonhide, an with 99 thieving and 85 agility, the ability to steal from Dragonkin, to obtain Dragonbone kits.

Regular or Minor updates:

- Finishing the skilling area
- Adding new teleport graphics and animations, as current ones bother me -.-
- We've been notified Nomad has a crate going into his lair, and it's rather heavy! Sounds like armor is shaking in there.
- A new NPC was spotted on the horizon, carrying what looks to be a pet eyeball. Will you help this monster heal his eyeball, or take it away from him?

Behind the Scenes - July

Here's this month's BtS!

Cache Updating: There will be about 3-4 more cache updates this month, and if you have slow internet, the last annoucement on here will probably make you say "Phew"

New Items: I was going to keep these a secret, but that's no fun! There will be a series of new items coming thru, some this week (in a day or 3), some next week, or the week after, it all depends on how smoothly things run between now & then.

Completely rewriting the unworking skills: What does this mean? During this time, I will hand select (Craig & Gremlin, done) 2 people to test the new methods of training. During these times, you will NOT have access to the following:
Fishing
Smithing
Fletching
(Possibly Agility & Hunter)

Reason being, I want these to work 110% before releasing to everyone.

Quests and Mini-Games: There will be 1 new mini-game, and 1 new quest this month, in order to play the minigame, you'll have to finish the quest. Cool right? No worries, it's rather.. smooth..

(HINT: 85 COOKING WILL BE NEEDED!!)

Cache updater: I'm trying to get a cache updater that only makes you download needed cache portions, rather than the full 70MB download. If you have slow internet, I know it bugs you, PLEASE bear with me during these times. I will figure out a solution.
